During his time in his hometown of Le Havre, Jim spent his time putting the spotlight on his local architectural heritage. After a few exhibitions at the local bookshop, a partnership between Jim and his town begins. Encouraged by the local culture, its rich heritage and by the town hall; the locked doors of forbidden and abandoned buildings were suddenly opened and free to be explored. He also collaborated on the town's 'Retrospective' exhibition which put him on a determined path: to work on Le Havre’s heritage; historical and documented or abandoned and destroyed.
